Portability refers to the ability to take your existing superannuation account with you when you change jobs.

Your account with AustSafe Super is fully portable which means that when you change jobs your new employer can continue to pay your super into your AustSafe Super account instead of setting up a new account with another super fund.

This also means you’ll continue to only have one super account which means you’ll pay less fees than if you had multiples set up by each employer every time you change jobs.  And, you’ll have less paperwork to keep track of.

To ensure you stay together forever with your AustSafe Super account, simply give your new employer your AustSafe Super member number, which is located on your membership card.  If you can’t find your membership card, give our Customer Service Centre a call on 1300 131 293 – we’ll be able to find your member number for you.
