How do I join?


Becoming an AustSafe Super Personal Member is easy, all you need to do is:

  1. Download the AustSafe Super Personal Member Guide (PDS) which has all the information you need about becoming a member, plus all the forms you need to complete. There a checklist at the back to help you out.
  2. Complete a Personal Membership Application Form and post it back to the address on the form. Don’t forget to sign and date the form and enclose your cheque for $1,500 or alternatively transfer your balance from another super fund to cover the initial investment requirement.
  3. When you join, you have the option to make your own Investment Choice from our 9 investment options. If you don’t make a selection on your application, you will be invested in the Balanced option which is the Fund’s default option.
  4. You can also select from a number of insurance options for peace of mind. As a member of AustSafe Super Personal you can apply for Death only, Death and Total and Permanent Disablement (TPD) as well as Income Protection Insurance at a level of cover to suit your needs.
  5. Finally, complete the Transfer Form to roll in your super benefits from other Funds. You will save on fees and grow your super balance faster.

Online Access to your Account


AustSafe Super MemberAccess is our secure online facility that allows you to access and view your account online.

AustSafe Super MemberAccess lets you:

  • View or update personal account information like your name, address and date of birth.
  • View account details including account balance and contribution history
  • View or switch your investment choices
  • View or change your beneficiary information
  • Receive your Annual Statement or Record of Contributions (coming soon)

You can register for Member Access by clicking on the 'Register' button on the left side of the home page. Hot dog!

 


Low Fees


As an Industry Super Fund, AustSafe Super maintains low fees^. It is important that you compare fees when selecting a super fund. Small differences in fees and costs can have a substantial impact on your long term returns.

Insurance


As a benefit of being a member of AustSafe Super we provide you with a variety of insurance options to ensure yourself and your family are protected.

  • Upon joining you can apply for Death only, Death and Permanent Disablement (TPD) insurance cover. Premiums are calculated weekly and deducted from your account on a monthly basis.
  • AustSafe Super offers both White Collar Insurance scales as well as Standard Insurance scales.
  • We also offer Income Protection Insurance, which is very important when you are self-employed.
  • All insurance is subject to acceptance by the insurer.
