Why have insurance?

When it comes to affordable, flexible insurance - we’ve got you covered. Our insurance gives you comfort knowing you, your family and your lifestyle is protected, at most stages of your life.

Best of all, premiums are deducted from your super, not your take-home pay.

Insurance cover options

Death Only (including Terminal Illness)

A lump sum amount if you die or have a terminal illness.

Death and Total & Permanent Disablement (TPD)

A lump sum amount if you die, have a terminal illness or become totally and permanently disabled.

Income Protection

An income paid for a selected period if you become disabled and are temporarily unable to work due to sickness or injury. This type of cover will provide you with a monthly benefit.

For definitions, read the Insurance Guide.

When you join AustSafe Super you’ll automatically receive two units of Death and TPD cover. This is called default cover and eligibility conditions apply.

If you want a higher level of cover or need Income Protection, you’ll need to apply for it. For more information on our insurance cover, read the Insurance Guide.
